Neo-prog band Vultress has created a concept album around a story that takes place over 200 years in the future when millions of humans have been imprisoned and tethered to machines by colonizers from another planet. This very progressive 2020 release titled “Hypnopompia” has leanings toward Rush, Haken, Cambria, Leprous, Steven Wilson, Gentle Giant and much more. The album was mixed and mastered by Giampiero Ulacco (King Crow) and features some cello work by Raphael Weinroth-Browne from the band Leprous.
